AIR (automatic input of a reserve) shields for generators

Devices for automatic switching of power to the reserve of the ATS type (ATS switchboard or cabinet) are designed to restore consumer power by automatically turning on the backup power source when the working power source is turned off, leading to a blackout of the consumer’s electrical installations with voltage up to 660 V AC, frequency 50 or 60 Hz, as well as it is provided for automatic switching on of the reserve equipment when the working equipment is turned off, leading to a disruption in the normal technological process.

AIR shields are made of one-sided maintenance and are designed for installation at facilities of the 1st category of power supply.

The AIR shield is provided with electricity from two independent, mutually redundant power sources. A break in the power supply of the consumer load, in case of a power supply failure from one of the sources, is allowed only for the period of automatic switching to backup power, with further full automatic restoration of the power mode circuit.

AIR devices are designed for installation at the facilities of a special group of power receivers of the 1st category, the uninterrupted operation of which is necessary for trouble-free power supply to industrial, household, banking and other energy-consuming facilities. AIR – 300 are provided with additional power from the third independent mutually redundant power source. As a third independent power source for a special group of category 1 power receivers, special uninterruptible power units, diesel power plants, batteries, etc. can be used. Rated operation is continuous.
