Carrier trays CT

CT carrier trays are used for laying wires and cables with a voltage of up to 1000V. The nomenclature of real trays includes elements ready for quick assembly of the cable route, with turns to the required sides in the horizontal plane, as well as raising and lowering in the vertical plane. CT trays are fixed on prefab cable structures, on elements of building structures and suspended on hangers.

The CT cable carrier tray (ladder) is a welded construction of two U-shaped perforated profiles connected by jumpers (also perforated). Turns of the cable route using trays of stairwells are created with the help of corner trays. Straight sections are intended for collecting straight sections of the track. The connection of the CT trays is made by inserting one into the other by 135 mm and is fixed with threaded fasteners.

The main dimensions of the CT trays of the load-bearing stairs:

L – total length of the CT tray (section), mm;

B – width of the CT tray, mm;

H – board height (U-shaped profile), mm;

S – metal thickness, mm.

Perforation on the side profile of the CT tray is intended for connecting corner sections, assembling supporting profiles, fastening to building structure details. Holes on jumpers are necessary for fixing cables and wires with clamps and holders, brackets and other fastening elements.

Electrical contact between sections of the trays in the U3 climatic design is ensured by grounding washers, in other designs by a protective metal coating of the contact points.

Carrier CT cable trays, produced at the factories of “PEA” LLC, have a design feature that consists in their combination with each other. The trays are connected by a special connector, which allows you to save the useful part of the length of the trays of the supporting cable ladders, which is usually lost when one end of the tray is inserted into the other. Therefore, fewer trays will be needed for the installation of the cable route.
